BASIC for Level 3
In order for a Level 2 inspector to become a Level 3 inspector, it is necessary to pass the Basic examination, which is taken only once before taking the Level 3 method exams.
The Basic examination relates to acquiring technical knowledge of materials and production technologies, acquiring knowledge of certification systems and general knowledge of at least 4 Level 2 methods (EN ISO 9712 standard, article 8.3.2.).
The standard recommends that the Basic examination (BASIC) be passed first and it remains valid for 5 years. The condition is that the exam for the first main method be passed no later than 5 years from the day of passing the Basic examination.
